I've been weighing in on Friday's and clearly that hasn't worked for me. I think I use that as an excuse to get off track when I see a loss during the week, I splurge on the weekend, regaining what I lost. I have changed my weigh in day to Monday. I'm confident that will get me to continue to make better choices during the weekend with the weigh in looming. My weigh in today showed a 3 lb loss and I want to maintain that same loss over the weekend. I'm sure it has to do with a lot of the initial big loss when you first start a program but I am trying to keep more active after work instead of parking in front of the TV or computer. Lots of new things going on in my world, some not so good, but I am remaining positive. Life is Good! Peace my friends.
I only weigh in once a week too. Saturday is my cheat day where I eat up to 1000 calories above my daily norm. Most all of that is still the good stuff that I eat during the week. Proteins mostly from plants and some from animals that swim. Good fats and legumes. So every Saturday morning I check the scale. Sometimes I slip up a little bit like everyone else but I just keep moving forward. By weighing in on Saturday morning it provides a safeguard. If I slip up and cheat a little on Sunday that is two days. If I weighed in on Friday morning I could slip up on Saturday and Sunday as well giving me grief on Monday. 2330 days ago
