eating healthy still a struggle

It was another great day to be outside, and I easily met my 10,000 steps per day goal. I am eating a lot more vegetables and salad these days, but still way too many calories. One step, one day, at a time.

    I had a similar problem until I added alternative day strength training. I only do about 10 to 20 minutes Core one day, Upper Body the next, Lower another day--rotate aiming for two days each a week with one rest day. Seems to work. I focus on strength so I'll burn more calories at rest. I also try to eat carbs, fats, proteins in a more-or-less balanced portion to stay full/satisfied. Fiber helps too--but you are already doing that.

    Was tracking my calories really well until about a year ago, when we took in an autistic foster son for ten months. LOVED HIM. wouldn't change a thing, but it is time for me to start tracking again too. How is your summer going?
