Day 44 confusion

Saturday, September 27, 2014

I don't know quiet what happened today. I slept really soundly last night. But was up after only 6 hours full of energy. So I started to clean up in the living room and needed something out of the closet in the computer room. Well that went hay wire quickly. The closet is now empty and there was one huge bag of garbage and another started.

Then I decided I needed to fix the saggy shelves in there. So off I go to the lumber yard. Looking for some better kind of shelf. But those solid wood shelves are expensive...and I would still need to have someone come and cut them to fit for me. So I wandered around a bit and found a little slide together 4 shelf plastic unit that would fit. And while I was there I also bought myself a table to put my sewing machines on upstairs.

Now all of a sudden it is after 3pm and I've done no chair exercises and there is stuff all over the computer room floor.

So today was just weird. I didn't eat very well, and I didn't get in my normal exercise but all 4387 steps where real steps. The closer is empty completely and the shelf unit is put together. So tomorrow my plan is to organize the stuff I kept and get the table upstairs to the new sewing room.

For most of the day I felt like I had started a dozen things and changed what I was working on every time I walked into a different room. But that wasn't so much the case after I sat down to blog.

I feel kind of silly now that I think about it.

I know what you mean! Sometimes I'll start a "simple" project that quickly balloons into a MUCH bigger project than I originally intended. It's especially discouraging when everything is pulled out and in my way, but I can't put it away until some extended piece of the project gets finished. At least once you're done you'll have a fully organized closet!
