Day 2- Extra Hour of Sleep

I hadn't fully realized it was time to reset clocks this weekend. Surprisingly, my Facebook feed wasn't all lit up with reminders. Not like I really need to worry about it with modern technology (like cell phones) that update themselves. But, last night it was particularly awesome. I've been dealing with ovarian cyst pain for more than a week- just constant pain that never ceases- and last night I woke up at... um... 2:30am or 3:30am (ya know, time change...) and it was pretty bad. I was so uncomfortable. Finally, I got up to take some painkillers, but they took forever to kick in. Plus, getting up out of bed totally woke me up. So, I didn't fall back asleep until sometime after the sun had already begun to lighten the sky outside. I woke up at 8:00am and didn't feel too exhausted. Not as much as I thought I should be feeling. It wasn't until after I got to church that I realized I was gifted with an extra hour of sleep. No wonder! And thank goodness.

I will not be singing this same tune in spring when we lose an hour. *rabble, rabble*

This totally made me laugh!

Hope you are taking care of yourself! We don't change our clocks here in AZ for daylight savings....but fell sucker to the FB memes too and posted Cher! The craziest part is that video was filmed on my ex's (Navy) ship!

Cheers to an extra hour of sleep!

ovarian cysts aren't funny. Hope it resolves itself- quick burst instead of slow leak. Ouch, ouch, ouch. Glad you got the extra sleep- and felt a bit better. take care.
