looking back and moving forward....pt 1

So here and it is, December. Since I hate being one of the crowd, I don't generally wait until the New Year to come up with resolutions when everyone is doing it.

This year I've surprised myself by making some marvelous choices. (This was running kind of long so I'm breaking it up into chunks. If you want to read them all, I will be posting one a day.)

The first one was my FITBIT Zip. It was a Christmas present to myself last year. It's really helped me get moving more and keeps me motivated to do so. Weekends, vacations and funk times I didn't do so well.

Going forward (which I prematurely started October 26) 10000 a day on FITBIT and 6 a day on SPAT -- no matter what. *Unless a real health issue prevents this from happening. (I have to use different numbers for each tracker because the SPAT doesn't work so well for me when I work due to placement)

FITBIT Zip stats to date:
Over 35000 steps in one day ... I will shoot for 36000 next year.

3,916,199 steps logged this year... I should see 4,000,000 before year end. I will shoot for 4,500, 000 next year. (approx 12,329 steps a day)

1,961.59 miles -- I hope to see 2000 but I may not. I will shoot for 2500 next year. (approx 6.85 miles a day)

12/25 update....already made 4 million steps and 2000 miles. I will post year end stats on NEW YEARS!!!

stats from NEW YEARS DAY 2015:

SPAT:
steps: 4,687,274
minutes: 80,480 (was adding in FBZ)
miles: 3506.1 (was adding in FBZ)

FITBIT ZIP:
steps: 4,644,430
miles: 2323.85


I still use both trackers but I'm no longer syncing my FB ZIP to SparkPeople. I will keep the stats separately.
