A New Challenge

Wednesday, December 03, 2014

The past 3 weeks is the first time I've felt connected to sparkpeople for years it's been a place where I would record my exercises and get my points, I've met people who was like me (ghosts) so eventually I just stop I did okay but when your alone your not accountable to anyone so it doesn't matter if you gain a few pounds whose watching? But being part of a team you feel the strength the need to go on ,the need, desire to finish and accomplish your goals.I always said I could do this journey on my on because I'm strong and determine but what I found out about my self is I'm competitive I need that drive, that will, I need that Spark,my friends and my team gives me that push, so to all my friends and teammates, Thank you and for those ghosts let someone see you, motivate you let someone give you that Spark.

There is a TON of support here at SP! It's nice to have people to lean on to for support and to bounce ideas around!

I'm so with you on this. I never really connected with anyone on SP (joined in 2007) until I joined the Panther Team in August. Now it's like a second or third family. I love the accountability and motivation of being part of a team. It makes a HUGE difference!

emoticon I too thought I could do it alone, but ended up leaving SP for 2 years. I am very competitive and being a part of a team has not only taught me alot, but it has also helped push me in the direction that I needed to go. emoticon
