Winter time is the best time for fresh produce in Egypt. Every time my honey goes out of the apartment he thinks he needs to buy something. I am not joking. The good part on that is that he usually buys food. He rarely buys things from a box or package always gets me things as fresh as can be. I am truly spoiled on this part. I make comments saying next time we go to the market we should get some apples. Apples are spendy here as they are imported and not grown here but oranges, zucchini, carrots, green beans and much more are grown here. Today he went to the office as he normally works from home and he brought me wheat breads and apples and other good fresh stuff. I used to get tummy aches from eating wheat breads and such while I was in the states. The doctor said I have gluten sensitivity. I stayed away from it. There are very few things here in Egypt that have GMO's my bread being GMO free. I eat the breads here and no tummy aches. I am grateful to be able to eat bread again. When we go for walks and go past the bakery's baking all that good stuff it is nice to stop in for a treat once in a while.

I would love to get fresh veggies and fruits. "Good looking" veggies and fruit are so hard to come by here in Oklahoma. So you are very lucky.
