A long time!

WOW! It's hard to believe, that I have not blogged on Sparkpeople in over 2 years. Life passes too fast.
So my weight is too high and my health problems continue to increase. In May 2014, I had major back surgery and I am still recovering. Because of the surgery I am limited on exercise. I have to be very careful with cardio and strength training. My goal for the year is to lose 5 pounds a month. That does not sound like that much, but I have to be realistic about what I can do exercise wise. So I want to lose approximately 102 pounds. Last year, I reached my highest weight ever, 294. As I was more active, I got down to around 274 but am back up to 282. So I would like to get to around 180. That would mean 114 pounds from 294. I can't believe I was so close to 300 pounds. So if I lose 5 pounds a month it will take about 23 months. Hopefully, I will lose faster, but again I want to be realistic and not put too much pressure on myself.
