Thoughts for my year ahead:
I'm going to be moving more - I'm standing at my desk. I've joined a work group that wants me to log 150 minutes weekly on exercise that can be tracked with endomondo, so no staying in place exercising (which really appeals to me, for now). No idea how exactly I'm going to fit it in, but lunch time seems to be the ideal time. I'll have to be flexible and change it up if I need to.
I'm going to be eating differently - I'm still intrigued by VB6 (vegan before 6pm), which is something I'm doing for me. I'd also like to re-institute Meatless Mondays, which would be for the whole family. I stopped from lack of will and hating being complained at every Monday. Now I just don't care about the complaints. I'm not a restaurant, and if I want to make Mondays meatless then so be it. I purchased The Food Matters Cookbook and plan on making at least one dinner a week from it to ease the boys into eating things that they don't normally eat (and more veggies, less meat).
I am going to do more of what makes me happy: completing craft projects! - I have already started off 2015 with a bang. I've completed two projects on my 2015 "to do" list, which is amazing since I feel like I got 2 done in all of 2014! I made a "I'm bored" jar for the 5 year old, who is now limited to 30 minutes of minecraft/any video game where you sit (I let him play as much of the kinect/moving games as he likes) so I'm expecting to hear a lot of "I'm bored" ahead. I also made a magnetic activity board in the kids bedroom hallway from an oil pan (thank you Pinterest!). It is awesome! Next will be finishing up a quilt I've been working on since 2012, and crocheting a blanket (there are more, but I think I'll be tackling those first).
Happy New Year!!!
