The pool

Tuesday, January 13, 2015

clear, blue water and 90 degrees. It felt so good yesterday. My tight muscles were able to relax and I feel like I have a young body when I get out. Especially after spending some time in the hot tub, then taking a hot shower. My arthritis doesn't like the cold either, but relaxes some with the workout. I felt good the rest of the day. I tried to walk around my apartment and stand every 30 minutes, so I didn't get stiff.

Today the emoticon is shining and it looks like a nice day. I am going to try to get my car out of it's parking place on the street. Don't want to be indoors all day and unfortunately it is too far to walk to do any shopping besides one grocery store and one pharmacy. I need to tackle Walmart or Sam's Club, just not sure I am up for it today. All depends on if my car wants to move. It did the same thing last year when we got a lot of snow. I am considering new tires. They are 5 years old and the thread is getting pretty bald!

Had a great lunch today. Tried Lean Cuisine salad additions Asian-Style Chicken. Must say it was tasty! It must not be selling well at the store I went to because it was a mark down product and not just a sale item. I added Romaine Lettuce and drank water. Should keep me going for a while! It has 17 grams of protein and only 260 calories. I should be able to stay in my calorie range today!

Hope everyone has a nice day. Remember it is what you make it, so make it great!

I feel the same way about doing a workout in the pool followed by a some hot tub time. I do feel better after working out in the pool.
Sounds like you pick a good lunch item, hope you can find it again, that they aren't eliminating it from the store.
How did moving the car go today, have any luck?

So glad you can take advantage of the pool. I'm sure that must help tremendously.

I have seen the Lean Cuisine advertised but have never looked for it. Maybe now I'll have to check it out. What is the salt content? I'm not a salt user and find that many things have way too much salt for my taste.

    Keep up the great job.
