Kinda Bleh!

Wednesday, January 21, 2015

The last couple days have been really bleh! I had a panic attack the other day and since then everything is really .......................idk ......grey? I haven't had a bad attack like that in years and it really freaked me out. I seriously thought I was dying! I suffer from anxiety and regularly feel its effects. It gets in the way of a lot of thing for me. But I haven't felt anything this powerful or intense in many years ..............probably 12-13. I have had a lot of Dr's appt. this week and have been out quite a bit. I haven't had a chance to check in with sparks like I normally do. Just thought I'd say hi emoticon

I have a son in law with anxiety problems. Don't let this mean that rudeness is okay. He has undergone quite a bit of drug therapy but my daughter found that behavior modification was the best method for him. I've missed you Robbie. I will advise something I used to advocate in my crisis centre counseling practice. Act as if. If you act as if you are relaxed it will become true. If you act as if you are interested in the lives of others it will become true. If you act as if you are healthy and kind and active, it will also become true. So sorry about the panic attack, how do you handle it when it happens? It is alright to expand on these topics and it might even be part of the path of learning to deal with it. Just sayin'! emoticon emoticon
