Alternate Day Fasting!

Hi all Happy New Year!,

Haven't been putting much on here lately. I was in a funk and not losing weight at all. I was just gaining and losing up and down like a yo yo. It really bummed me out.

I decided to try and new method. Alternate Day Fasting, if you ever go on pinterest look it up. I love it. I'm not a big eater to begin with and everyone was always at me to eat more. That's why your not losing, your body is in starvation mode. I started to eat several small meals a day and guess what I gained like 20 pounds. When I started spark people I was 255 and I want up to 272. That's not good. I excise like a crazy woman and it didn't matter. So I came across this new way of eating. You have an Eat day where you can eat whatever you want with in reason. I try to eat over 1200 calories but not more than 1800 calories and nothing after 7pm. Then the next day is Fast day where your goal is to eat only one meal Dinner or Lunch and you eat only 500 calories. (sometimes I am a little under or a little over. I try not to go to much over.) You must drink plenty of water or anything liquid zero calories. You keep alternating days and you will lose! I started on December 22, 2014 and it's January 21, 2015 and I have lost a total of 10 pounds. I will say I haven't excised at all since I started this. I am going back to my swimming and when I can bike riding and this should make me lose even more. (I'm hoping any way!)

I usually eat at 4 or 430 on my Fast day its as long as I dare go. It has been very easy for me to do this way of eating. I can feel the difference in my clothes, they are looser. My stomach has shrunken, so on my Eat day's I can't or don't eat as much as I used to. So all is good! Once I get to the weight I want they say you should go to 5-2 meaning 5 Eat days and 2 Fast days. I'm good with that! My rings are loose. I have more energy and am starting to feel like doing more house work and other fun stuff. So I am on cloud nine and I realize not everyone can do this type of thing but I love it and it's so easy for me. If some special event comes up on Fast day skip that fast day and just eat and do the next day as fast. Just don't do it often or you will not lose. I hope this helps some of you to try it. As I said not every one can eat so little a day. I just drink alot and think tomorrow I can eat whatever I want!!!!!!!!!! and it works for me!
