End of week 3 - Sucessful vacation, down 1.2 lbs

Got back from my Florida vacation late last night. Weighed in this morning - down 1.2 lbs. that's almost unheard of for me to lose weight while away on vacation. But I worked for it let me tell you.
My mother and I were staying at a nice hotel that had a full kitchen in the room, and we were within walking distance of a grocery store. We discussed it at the beginning of the week, we both had restaurants that we really wanted to go to, so we decided to eat at a restaurant for 1 meal each day and the other 2 we would prepare at the hotel. We managed to stick to that plan all week.
Since we planned which restaurants we were going to go to I was able to look up their menus and plan ahead what I was going to have and work it in to my day. We only had dessert twice and one time we shared it.
The hotel had a lovely pool area, 2 large pools, 2 hot tubs and a kids pool. I went swimming 6 out of 7 days, Once in the morning and again later in the afternoon, and several days we had long walks as well. The exercise more than made up for the restaurant choices.
Now that i'm home I am finally going to dust off my Treadmill and get started on my walking program again. I also have a few pool passes left over from last year for a nearby center, going to try and keep up with swimming a few times a week at least.
