Last Tuesday (Jan. 27, 2015) I took a chair exercise class at our senior center. Ever since, both of the sides of my knees have been messed up. Went to an Ortho Dr. and received a shot of Cortisone in the side of each knee. I have had Cortisone shots in the past and they usually work immediately. This time no such luck. Pain is excruciating and it is hard to walk.
Dr. said chair exercise is not for me. He says that aquatic exercise would probably be the best for me right now. My only problem with that is this... I can get in to a pool, but I can hardly get out. I do have pain, but my legs are weak all of the time.
I did not know it, but the Dr. set me up for physical therapy (the physical therapy dept. called me yesterday). I am not disappointed that he did that.
By the way, they have a shallow therapy pool with steps and a railing to get in and out of the pool. Hope I can do this.
It seems to me, every time I try to start an exercise program, something happens to me and I am unable to complete what I started. {Catch 22}.(Not Fair).
Not being able to get around in my house recently has helped me in one way. I cannot get to the kitchen very easily, so I am not getting in a lot of the snacks I would usually eat.
I have also learned that I can wash dishes in the kitchen from my desk chair. not easy, but I managed.
I am managing around the house, but I need to go to Sam's Club today (maybe). Hope they have a riding cart available. LOL.
I was really feeling discouraged yesterday, but am in a little better mood today. It is a little discouraging when I keep trying and all I do is end up back at the starting gate.

(Round Robin). I am not going to quit trying and of course I will take all of the encouragement I can get.
So glad my Spark Friends are here. Blessings to all.
