Almost 2 weeks with New Plan in Action

I know I just mentioned I was testing out how my body reacted to the 80/10/10 lifestyle (otherwise known as high carb, low fat) but I have been testing it out here and there for about 2 weeks now. Years ago I went vegan overnight and couldn't have been happier but I am testing the waters with 80/10/10 because it does require one to eat a lot of uncooked meals. It being winter and all, for me can be a challenge. I'm glad I'm doing this right now but it takes a special person to go cold "turkey" (vegan turkey?) in the winter. There have been people that have done it but it's hard to cook a full warm meal for the DH and not myself.
At last, I have been going mostly raw until dinner. Occasionally I do not have raw at lunch but that is mostly due to a hard workout of shoveling snow and my body asking for something warm. Then I go for either cooked high carb, low fat foods. I guess what I have been doing is both the Starch Solution and 80/10/10. Nothing wrong with that since this is just a lifestyle not a diet.
Gladly things have been really going good. I love nice cream for breakfast and all the fresh vitamin C filled fruit. If anything I am getting more energy to last the day. I'm not getting in as many calories as many that live this lifestyle suggest but I am working with what my body wants which is all a person can do in my opinion. So far I have seen a slight decrease in weight but that could just be water loss so I'm not holding my breath.
Results so far:
energy up most of time
Feeling less bloated
less SAD symptoms
weight loss lowered but questionable
With these results I am truly happy and will continue on trying to find the correct combination of vegan food my body needs for energy and efficiency.
Anyone else live on a high carb, low fat or starch solution ?
