Today's challenge was to try a new food. I decided to try a food I eat, but prepare it a little differently. I like cooked broccoli, but don't like eating it raw. I have had broccoli salads that I really like, but wanted to avoid mayonaise. Having read of people using hummus as a substitute for mayo, I decided I would make a broccoli salad using hummus. It was really good! As it had some bacon and cheese in it, I used it as my main dish.
