And the God of peace shall bruise Satan under your feet shortly.
I remember talking with my friend on the phone. While we were on the phone she told me, whether we were on a diet or eating healthy this was a good moto to live by. I told my friend that I was going heed her advice. It's like being drawn to a particular piece of chocolate cake. I de-bated with myself for the longest time, if I was going to eat it. Then I finally gave in and went to the counter to cut a piece of it. On my way to eat it, I remembered what my friend and I talked about, I turned turned quickly, and took the cake straight to the sink and soaked it in water, where I proceeded to wash it down the drain. Not only did my friend teach me it is better to waste food than to wear food around my waist. I always felt that perhaps God was trying to teach me something as well, how to resist temptation by reflection. The source of my temptation did indeed end up in my sink, with a twinkle in my eye and reflections of my friend as well of Christ and how He resisted temptation.
Today's thought: Food wasted is better than food around the waist!
