Today I cleaned out my refrigerator and pantry. I've been wanting to get to the pantry for a week, but today was my first opportunity to do it right. Everything needed to be re-organized since the holidays. I had some leftover Valentine's candy and some goodies I bought when I was traveling overseas. It took me a while to do it right, but now everything is organized. I have two big successes:
1. I put all junk food in my son's snack drawer and I won't be eating ANY of it.
2. I only had to throw away 3 boxes of jello that was out of date.
That is a success because I hate wasting food and money on food, so that cost under $2.00. I hate finding something shoved in the back that we could have eaten and that I really like that is stale or out of date.
Now, cooking is much easier because of this organization and it is easier to make healthy choices.
