Slipping into another decade

Late last week my weight dipped into the 130s, just barely. And then the next day it went back up, and stayed higher for a few days due to Chinese New Year feasting. So I didn't update my weight until this week, when the scale went down to 139, and then to 138. I have another Chinese New Year meal tomorrow, so I left my ticker at 139 - seems likely that I'll be bouncing back up a little bit after belly-busting again!
I think the last time my weight was in the 130s was before our youngest was born, so about 15 years ago. I'm trying to wrap my head around how fast those years went by, and how good I was at ignoring how much my body had changed during that time. Or maybe that should be: how good I was at pretending not to notice/care that my body had changed so much during that time.
If the 138 sticks after I recover from tomorrow's eating, then I will have lost 40 lbs. I'll be 3 lbs away from my original target, and my new target of being able to take off my wedding ring is almost achieved as well (right now I can't get my ring off anymore because its a bit swollen from abuse earlier tonight!).
I have my next appointments with my nutritionist in 3 weeks and my doctor in 5 weeks, so we'll probably decide then when to start the re-feeding. I'm starting to brace myself for the challenge of maintenance. I know that when I re-introduce carbs back to my diet, my appetite will return. Since I know how mighty a force my appetite can be, I think that maintenance is going to take more willpower than the PSMF does.
