10 pounds lost and plateau

Friday, February 27, 2015

Its been 13 weeks probably and ive lost 10 pounds. I am back in what used to be my previous highest weight. People are complimenting me and its nice to have my close fitting me again. Although not perfectly well. I have such a long way to go. I plan to track my weight in stages of 10 pounds losses. I had 50 pounds to loose so I'm at the end of stage 1. Stage 2 will take me to what used to be my highest weight in 2009 and my lowest weight last year. The next stage will take me to a weight lower than what i started here at sparkpeople in 2007. Stage 4 would take me to a weight where if i stop there i will still be fine but i plan to be 10 pounds lower than my fine weight. That would be stage 5 and 6. It doesn't help that I'm in a 3 week plateu where i have been gaining and loosing the same 2 pounds for the last 3 weeks. To shake it off i plan to add ten minutes each day to my now 30 minutes 5 times a week and an hour on Sunday. Buy fish and white chicken for my lunches at work. Weigh and track every day. I have been weighing everyday but not tracking. This will provide me with information I can analyse. All the best to me. I will pray that God helps me

The scale can be your worst enemy. I weigh in once every two weeks without clothes. But besides of the scale, your plan is awesome. You can do this!

OK... Now put the scale away.. your weight goes up and down all the time.. You will find if you weigh in about every three weeks or month you will find it better and keep the goals.. but I cut out a lot of sugar and treats.. I only have on once in a while.. and the water intake is really needed .. You will also need to watch a portion control.. I had to do this.. I used a smaller plate and it looks like a lot of food.. I sipped on water a lot.. I flavored mine cause I can't stand to have something to drink with out taste.. so be careful this week.. and Green Tea.. Very good for weight loss.. just a touch of Honey.. So make sure to move and get steps in today and your scale.. put it away.. You set yourself up for failure... Let me know if I can help in anyway.. I am here to get you there.. Tracking will really give you the best method to analyze and make changes as needed. You can track your loss per week and have that nutrition tracker at your fingertips. You might begin to see a pattern for a loss or a gain based on both nutrition and exercise trackers. Sometimes you might up your water intake or you may of eaten more protein....but by watching that sometimes it can indeed show a pattern and you can act accordingly. You have a good plan in place...just keep at it!
