That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God.
When joining today's army you are required to be in good physical condition and learn proper discipline. This is especially true when we join the army of the Lord. The Lord gave each of us our minds, our souls and our bodies. We are not born over weight, out of shape, most of us are born in perfect health, and as we grow we should be taught to care of our bodies as if they are a precious gem. There is no excuse for flabbiness of mind, or spirit. So why do we make excuses for flabbiness of our bodies. It is important that we strive not only to do what is good for our bodies, but also to avoid anything that might be detrimental or harmful to our health. As we strive to avoid temptation, we must strengthen our wills and remake them over in the image of our Lord Jesus Christ. We must rely on prayer to the Lord and ask the Lord to steer us unto His will and not unto our own, we need to always strive to live by the Lord's will.
Today's thought: When I look my best, I look most like Christ!
