My Theory or Was This Planned?

It's funny how things happen in our lives. Sometimes we might think to ourselves: 'Why didn't I meet a particular person a long time ago?' Or maybe: 'Why did this happen to me now? Why couldn't it have happen last year or a long time back?'

I have my own theory: I believe that things happen whether we are ready or not. The Universe has it's own way of making things work out in it's own way, time and place. It may not always be the way we want them to work out or when, but it seems to even out in the end.

Did you ever wonder how sometimes there is someone right there when you need them? Maybe a stranger stops to help you change a flat. Or you are in a fender bender and you are shook up and someone you know just happens to see you and stops to comfort you. I believe that these are not coincidences. I believe that they are there when we are ready for them to be there.

I believe that God has a plan for all of us, and he puts things or people in our lives when we are ready for them or when we really need them.

Jeremiah 29:11 is one of my favorite verses in the bible and speaks some about this.

Just some thoughts for today.

    I gave up trying to establish the timing for events in my life a long time ago. Call it God's Time, the Universe's Time, whatever. It can certainly be frustrating when you are in a hurry and get delayed. It can also be exasperatingly frantic when God pushes the overdrive button to meet a sudden change in the schedule. I hear people, usually so-called experts of some sort of other, who say we should just make our minds and DO something. Yeah right, sure. Might work for them, but sometimes one has to wonder if they ever get those adjustments from above and just don't realize it.

    I agree! My DH and I have always called this the stumble method. You stumble on just the right thing at just the right time. Or someone stumbles into your life at just the right time and place. It works every time.

    emoticon I believe there is a greater plan. We are given choices everyday. Look back on last year, last month, yesterday.... who did you meet? What occurred? What lesson are you learning?
    It always cheers me up, when I review the moments& people that make up my life. (Including you, friend)
