Our blog challenge on the 100+ First Steps team is to write about our next mini-goal and a couple of things we can do to reach that goal.
My mini goal is to lose 15 lbs by August. I'm scheduled to go back to the dr. in August and I want him to be proud of me. I've accomplished a lot since our last visit by increasing my steps and walking a 5K. Now, I want him to see the weight loss as well. Plus, I want my A1C to go down.
I will be continuing increasing my steps each month. I'm currently doing at least 7,000 steps each day. I do more on the weekend. I need to track my food every day. I started back today. I need to incorporate more veggies in my diet. I do great with fruit, but it's the veggies I need help with. So, I'm eating more salads. I love roasted veggies. In the evening, I will start roasting veggies to eat with my dinner.
