The BLC Round 27 has come to an end and it is time to reflect on my experience in this round.
I was a member of the

Azure Destination

Team and we had the chance to visit the Scarlet Seals and the Camo Crew two very amazing teams of people that I grew to have a lot of respect for both of their knowledge and their support and friendship offered - I will forever be grateful for that.
This Round brought many challenges for me both health wise and personal . I was dealing with a lot of family issues with my Mom in the nursing home and my un-cooperative family.
I also was doing the 100-Day Challenge and had chosen to put in 15 minutes a day of de-cluttering. I took that to the excess and got a lot done and managed to get three entire rooms done (4 months worth) before my doctor trip to Dallas. When I returned from my doctors trip I found that my home had been robbed - my de-cluttering had actually made it easier for the robbers to find the valuable items

because they didn't have to dig thru the clutter- this totally attempted to derail my Mojo for the Round.
I got mad, frustrated, depressed - a lot of different emotions but I knew I couldn't give up I had an awesome team that I had committed myself to and I think that is what it's all about. They were there for me to support and encourage me even when I didn't think I could go on and even though I didn't deserve their help because I wasn't strong enough to give any back at the time - they stood behind me. You should never underestimate the impact being a part of team means to your well being both physically and mentally- without it I probably would have plummeted over the deep end and started eating out of control and gained back everything. I am hoping that I will be able to be a more effective supporter and be able to encourage more in Round 28.
This is a summary of my accomplishments from Round 27.
I ended the Round as a

Steady Shrinker (meaning I lost weight each of the 12 weeks sometimes only a 0.1 of a pound but hey it was a loss

) for a total of 6.8. The doctors goal weight for me was 135.

So the verdict is even though I had many health issues from MS relapses, heart problems due to complications from the infection from surgery, and several falls - I did have a successful round as far as my journey is concerned.
It may have seemed like an unsuccessful Round in some aspects as far as my always being there for others which is what I want to be for my teammates not only on this team but on other teams like my Westies and Chair Exercise Team. I have spent numerous weeks without internet, without a workable phone, without plumbing (had to go to another house for over a week), without heat for 2 weeks during the coldest part of the year we had ever seen in Arkansas , without electricity (I have a really bad landlord-lol- in the process of trying to pack now) Many other issues not worth going in to detail , but I kept coming back in between I know my life began to sound like a badly written soap opera and I just wanted to change the plot. I am hoping that the plot will change dramatically in Round 28 and it will turnaround where I can once again help and support my teammates.>
I would like to give a special thanks to the captains for all their hours spent making this team work and keeping us on our toes .
I would especially like to thank the BLC ADMIN without them we would be able to keep these teams going they work round the clock and I really appreciate all the effort that goes into what they do. You are
Well good luck to everyone during the break. And thanks again to all who participate in the BLC,
