Wow I did it!

I have been writing about my walking goals for some time. I am addicted to my pedometer and I just won't leave home without it. Back in 2011, the first year I really started thinking about weight loss, my daily step average was 4,310 steps. There were days when the only time I left my chair was to go to the bathroom a few steps away. Now I'm a self avowed walking freak who won't go to bed unless I have at least 12,000 steps under my belt.

I track every day's step total on a massive spreadsheet and I've been trying to overcome my miserable beginning efforts in 2011 with a goal of raising my 5 year average to at least 10,000 steps a day.

Well yesterday I did it! In the course of this journey I have walked 13,831,019 steps since April 2011.

My average in
2012 was 7,787
2013 was 8,056
2014 was 9,723
and now finally yesterday it went over 10,000 steps on 4/12/2015
