Wow, it's been 18 days!?!?

I really don't know where the time is going these days. I swear I thought I posted that last post last Friday...but it was 2 weeks before last Friday!
The last two weekends have just been nuts with family stuff and the alcohol that comes along with it. I did not resist the booze, pretty much at all. And I no longer have any kind of tolerance to alcohol, so 4 drinks in 4 hours actually pretty much set me on my a$$. I've done better since then, but still had drinks.
So...once again I'm restarting and feeling a bit deflated. I really feel like all I do is stop and start. When I manage to string a whole week together, I have GREAT results. But most of the time? Not so much. :-(
There are 18 days until my cruise vacation. I don't think I'll be in my bikini by then (and today it's so cold here I can't even think about it!) but I DO plan to wear two gorgeous dresses on formal nights, so I want to be as low as I can get. If I can just stay on plan until then, avoid carbs and work out while on the boat, and get right back on plan when I return...maybe it won't be so bad?
I just want to get to my goal already and thinking back over the past year or so of steadily NOT making progress...things need to change. I NEED TO CHANGE.
