I kind of feel like I'm hanging on with my fingertips right now. I'm not gaining, but I'm not losing. I'm working the plan, but every day seems to have 1-2 off plan selections that keep me just at stasis.

I just can't really think about it too much right now, I have SO MUCH going on!

In 11 days we leave for vacation.

In that time, in my personal life I am (more or less in order):
Deciding whether to buy a horse by Wednesday, arranging transportation to its new home, hopefully spending some time with it?
Weighing in (diet counselor meeting) Tuesday
Getting a massage Thursday
Celebrating a step-son's birthday Saturday
Going to a baseball game Sunday
Getting my hair done Monday
Driving my husband to and from a very minor surgical procedure Tuesday
Weighing in Tuesday
Getting waxed (ouch!) Wednesday
Going to another baseball game Thursday
Hosting an overnight guest (so I need to clean house!) Thursday
Uh, packing, at some point

In my job I am (not in order):
Currently in the middle of settling three cases Today, tomorrow
Drafting a motion to continue a hearing Today
Preparing for hearing this week, doing the hearing Today/Wednesday
Preparing for hearing next week, doing the hearing Today/next Wednesday
Preparing for hearing two days after we get back from vacation Today
Drafting a response to a writ petition Today
Getting the response approved by my supervisor ASAP
Filing it with the court by next Thursday
Drafting a written argument on an appealed case
Filing it with the agency by next Thursday

All that on top of the "normal" day to day work of my job which already takes most of my time!

So if you don't see me for a while...there's a reason.

I also think I better get down to it instead of continuing to pile on to-dos and feel more overwhelmed. The sooner I get them done, the sooner they're off the list!
