Anyone following IIFYM?

So I've been hearing a lot about IIFYM from a log of other bloggers and I am really interesting in checking it out. I've been watching my calorie intake for a while now and tried going high carb, low fat vegan but to tell you the truth, I did not see any weight loss but I gained. Additionally I am gaining weight for some reason unknown at the moment even though I am eating healthy and exercising. It's very weird and am going to make a doctors' appointment sooner than later to assure there is no imbalance of any sort going on. But for now, I'm thinking of testing out the IIFYM because husband and I have been weight lifting a lot (weight lifting, bodybuilding, what is the true difference?) and training for a 10K marathon in about 2 months. So I think it's the perfect time seeing as we would be eating more protein and carbs, but vegan of course.
So, any IIFYM out there? I'm so interested in it right now and trying to learn just about everything there is about it.
