This reminds me of visiting at my grandparents one year when I was about 13, and we took the train up the mountain, as a scenic tour. Of course it wasn't near as fast as yours, as it was a coal engine, and we stood in box cars. The train even had a smoke stack that blew coal remains from the smoke all over our clothes.
