My surgery was January 6, 2015.

That is:

12/29/14
(Pre Surg appointment):
Weight: 370.00*
BMI 58.07
BP: 130/82
Heart rate: 84 / bpm

Now ( 6/29/15):
(Dr. Appointment)
Weight: 265.00*
BMI 41.51
BP: 98/60
Heart rate: 72 / bpm

(*My weight on the scale the day of surgery was 364, which is what I go by; these are the vitials from my doc's office, so I am going by them for the purpose of this blog).

My BP is too low now. Low enough that I am having issues with light headedness when I stand up (why I went to the doc's today!) A couple other things are happening that are not-so-good.

I am losing my hair. I don't mean the normal shedding that happens. I mean clumps of hair, every day. My hair is one of my best physical traits, so needless to say I am really upset about it. But, I also know I am to blame for it. I have not been taking my vitamins like I should be. I have also not been eating as much protein as I should be. So, I have just started taking my vitamins again and I have loaded my house up with protein. Hopefully in time (a short time!) my hair will stop falling out and start growing back.

I am dehydrated. Not a lot, but definitely some. I feel like I drink water all day long. I always, always have a water bottle with me. I will have to keep trying. One of the biggest things with GP is loose skin, and one of the best ways to prevent that too much is healthy skin, which equals hydrated skin. I am also not supposed to drink caffeine, but that will not stop happening, although I have reduced my intake by a significant amount.

I am so happy with my progress though. Losing 100 lbs in 5 months is amazing. That's 27% of my weight. I finally went down from a 4x to a 3x (and sometimes a 2x, depending on the clothes). My hips are being stubborn, so my pant size has not really budged much. This is super frustrating, but I know they will eventually start losing inches. Patience!
