Checking in after my post on 6/24 to report on my progress.
Here is a recap of my 6/24 break down: June 24th--Christmas Eve, December 24th is 183 days away, and this morning I weighed in at 257, and I want to be at 200 by Christmas, so 57 pounds to lose; so 183/57 is===3.2 So every 3 days I need to lose a pound, or let's say 2.4 pounds a week.
As of last Thursday I was down 3 of the 4.8lbs I need to lose by tomorrow to stay at this pace, and reach my goal of 200 by 12/24, my Christmas present to myself. I am pretty proud of myself, it has taken a lot of reminders and being consistent, but I am getting so much better at this.
I have decided NOT to use the SP menu--I can do much healthier/fresher food for the same amount of calories, sometimes less. I just don't see the point of putting packaged, refined things in my body if I don't have to. I am trying to go back to using 1 new SP recipe a week though, to give my regular menu a shakeup.
We traveled for 5 days last week, but luckily I managed to get us a hotel with a kitchen in the room, and an exercise room. Killed an hour on the gym Friday morning, and did some weight training. The rest of the weekend was run run run, so I was glad to get that hour in. I watched/tracked everything I ate and I think I did fairly well.
Sadly though, we brought treats back with us, and I left them in the kitchen-I was tired after driving so long to get home, so I will be moving them down to the basement today.
When I stepped on the scale yesterday it said 253, but I am not counting anything until tomorrow.
I have gone back to weighing myself almost daily, I find the days that I don't, I don't pay as much attention to what I eat. I am also considering doing the whole 30 challenge since we won't be traveling for a while.
-Anyone who wants to share tips/links etc. It would be greatly appreciated.
This morning I walked our 3 dogs at the same time, had my favorite breakfast of cottage cheese, sunflower sees and fresh pineapple, and am getting ready to head outside for a walk before it rains and gets crazy muggy.
So happy that I have found a pace/plan that I am able to achieve.
