Hi... I'm Hayley. I was abandoned and someone found me, half starved
and very scared. I was only 10 months old. I was lucky to be taken to a
No-Kill Cat Shelter, where I've been learning that not everyone is mean.
After a few months, my new Mom and Dad came to the Shelter, looking
for an older cat. That's when My new Dad to be saw me. He called out to
my new Mom to be... "Come look at this one, it has wolf-eyes."
You see, I could tell that he's a 'dog person', and I knew I had to make him
want me. So I winked at him, purred and even turned upside down,
so he could see how gentle and beautiful I was. And I could tell that my Mom
had a big hole in her heart that needed filling up. I can do that... easily!
It worked... my Mom knew that my Dad had to want a cat, and he wanted
me. Of course Mom loved me at first sight. Dad named me after the best female,
Canadian Hockey Player, five time Gold Medal winner, Hayley Wickenheiser.
He's a hockey nut, and I don't care what he calls me, as long as he loves me.
So now I have my own soft bed, lots love and food , forever.
P/S Hayley is an energetic, young little sweetheart, with some brat in her, which keeps me entertained. Last night at 2am, she dragged her 'birdie on a stick' to my bedroom so we could play some more.
