So I made my list, and picked one, which is paying more attention to my satiety level and stopping eating when I'm satisfied.
But I also put on there: "find a new doctor". So on Monday I called the medical group and made an appointment with a new doctor.
It's not until the end of September, but for a new doctor appointment, I'm good with that. I don't have anything pressing, but I do want to schedule some screening stuff, so September it is!
As far as watching my satiety level this week, I'm going to say I have had a couple of successful moments. The other night we had steak, salad and Larry's famous potatoes, and I actually left some of the salad in the bowl after taking stock and realizing I WAS satisfied, and not stuffed, so I stopped. Larry ended up finishing the salad....
I also had a day at work where I forgot to have my afternoon snack (including the cherries I had brought). I didn't realize this until the next day when I went for my fruit snack and saw the cherries there.
So paying more attention to my hunger/satiety levels is doable, and I'll keep working it!
