Day 373 Interesting week to come.

Sunday, August 23, 2015

First of all my Spark friends are funny. Those of you that follow me a lot know that cleaning anything is against my better judgement. I tend to put it off until it hurts to walk on the dog food dropped on the floor or the cat throws up. So a whole day of cleaning is hard work. But that revelation about keeping your house neat being part of taking care of yourself got me to thinking that I needed to start making time for that. Enough said.

I worked on a surprise for my daughter-in-law today. She is a Seahawks fan and I'm making her a Seahawk colored purse. I will mix it in with working on the hats that need making. And then today I got an order for a shark cacoon afghan for an adult. I'm thinking about how much to charge him.

Now for my week. My niece from Boston has come to visit gramma with her 2 sons ages 5 and 2. She stopped in to see them this evening because she got here early enough to see them before bed. Of course my dad called and wanted me to come to town because she was here. I'll see her and the boys tomorrow. I baked cookies today so that gramma has some treats for the boys. I plan on spending most of the day in town tomorrow visiting. She is leaving again on tues. It will be a couple of hard days for gramma.

Then at the end of the week it's quilt class time again. I can't wait. I'm taking some pot holders I made for show and tell.

It will be lots of running around this week.
