August wrap up & September goals

I’m so glad August is over!! Its been a whirlwind for sure!!

Homeschool with my two boys is going well. It is one bright spot in my life. I enjoy learning new things with them & encouraging them to become men of God.

I still have not finished the Joyce Meyer Bible study for the month of August. I have 2.5 more videos & 3 study notes pages to do. I will keep at it until I finish.

I did not complete the yoga video a day challenge. I found that my back & sides hurt after doing the videos. I switched to Jessica Smith’s FitIn15 workouts. It took me until today to do all 15 and I didn’t necessarily finish every one, but I did watch them & do ¾ of each one.

I finished the Spark People Small changes calendar. I really like this feature on SP!! And now with them revamping it, I can earn points by re-doing ones I’ve already done!!

The Black Panther Summer challenge is over. I did participate most days. I just didn’t lose any weight. The fall challenge starts Sept 9th & I am ready!! I still don’t know if I will lose any weight, but I will keep following my healthy habits & trust the process!

I haven’t done much quilting. I’m not sure if I will get back to it until after the wedding.

For September, I will keep a lot of the same goals/habits:
Bible study will be a 30 Days to Wisdom Bible study.
Fitness will be a 30 miles in 30 days challenge. I will mostly use Leslie Sansone videos. I also want to do strength training with my Panther team.
I also want to continue to eat at least 4 freggies a day, get outside for 10 mins and get 8 hours of sleep.

I am working on streak of calorie deficit days. This streak began Aug 20. I did have one day of +3, but to me that was close enough to count as a deficit. I’m not sure how long I can go. I want to try to make it to my surgery date at least.
