btw was out of town for a week at the end of the month (see status) so apologies if I missed participating in things...new month ahead, right?
August was my first FULL MONTH of COMMITTED participation on SparkPeople! (I made MY official commitment to health/weight loss on July 21 despite joining way back in April.)
This was also my first ever August where I didn't give up on exercise in general because of the heat! Am proud of myself for maintaining the commitment to running despite the EXCESSIVE sweating that took place.
I managed to get a "log on" streak of 40 days (even while in the Boundary Waters!) before I botched it and TOTALLY SPACED on a day we were with out-of-town guests and were running around all day! Nuts!
I hit one of my early weight loss goals: To weigh 135 by the time I went on vacation, and I actually hit 134 For a total loss of 7 pounds since July 21!
Am pretty stoked to have had 1813 fitness minutes (thank you FitBit!), but setting a goal to hit 2000 in September!
