Challenge: to Journal everyday for a week
Missed Day 1 Oops.
Weigh In was a bit disappointing. I expect more than a one pound loss from myself. I'm gonna blame...the wine :) What I have to acclimate myself to, is living a life that isn't entirely deprivation...rather, it's moderation. Just because I am hungry enough to eat half a box of pasta doesn't mean I should...nor should this new life I'm living stop me from having ANY pasta at all.
Sensible portions and small indulgences!

Like when I impulsively ate a handful of caramel corn and a kinder egg at work because I was starving AND freaking out...came home and ate a whole plate of raw vegetables followed by a 10 minute Kettlebell workout, a 20 minute Cardio Kickboxing workout and 5 minutes of Intense Strength Training (Athlean). While all of that was rewarding and exhausting, it only added up to 29 Active Minutes on my FitBit...which is SO TOTALLY not enough for one day. Usually I am hustling all over at work but today was a planning day so got 0 minutes in a 6 hour shift :( Looks like it will be the Wii and/or the Treadmill for me tonight!
As far as goals: I was lucky to have lost an extra .5 pound at the end of the first week of this challenge so OVERALL am still on target. Having lost a total of 3 in 2 weeks technically meets my 1.5 per week goal. I would rather be ahead of the game though. But a loss is a loss! 1.5-2 NEXT WEEK! WORK IT!
Okay. So looking ahead, short term goals (tonight and tomorrow)
Eat sensible for dinner with early bed so no snacking!
Run in a.m. if it isn't raining. Good choices at Starbucks! Short Shift. Home before lunch so no impulsive eating. Strength and a workout in afternoon. Show restraint in the evening!
