EEEEK! Yesterday....oh yesterday.... I had some extra pumpkin puree to use up. Now this was quality, homegrown, organic pumpkin that I pureed a few days back. Did not want this to go to waste!! So I get on Pinterest (where else would I go recipe hunting!?) to find a yummy recipe for pumpkin. It was later in the evening and I wanted something relatively quick that we could keep - not consume immediately, like a meal. So what did I find!? COOKIES!!! I make homemade pumpkin cookies last night and WHO cannot control themselves around fresh, homemade, high quality baked sweets!? THIS GIRL! :D Eeeks!!
So I nibbled. I had probably the equivalent of 4-5 cookies between the batter and the cookies freshly baked. NOT GOOD. Thankfully, I guess, yesterday had been a hectic day at work and I was down on my calories so IF I went over my calories, it was not by too much, but still....sugar...and flour...that makes me bloat and retain fluid like crazy...3 days before DietBet end! Yeesh!
And this morning....I woke up to the plate (the ones I didn't freeze) sitting there and I nibbled some more. Probably 2 cookies worth. THEY ARE SO GOOD!
But... I have been careful the rest of the day. I DID, even on top of the zillion cookies I had last night, still loose 0.4#. Was hoping more for 1.2#, but I say a loss is still good for eating that much sugar/flour right before bed! I will take it. That leaves me with a whopping 2.7# to lose in just tow days. Come on sugar weight retention, come on!!
In addition, I did not take the time to make room for exercise, but I did well on my water intake at over 3 liters for the day.
Today has been reasonable and I am running with it. I NEED to give 100% and push through this weekend to make this DietBet. I KNOW I CAN DO IT! I KNOW I CAN!!
Eat around 1200 calories.
Consume 96 oz H2O MINIMUM.
No added Sugar/Sweets/Desserts - NO MORE COOKIES. NO NIBBLES! NONE!!
