Best Laid Plans - Journaling Day 3

So even though I made a plan, the day did it's own thing (SHOCKING!)

Ran the 3.5 miles to work and that went fine. Was LOVING the 54 degree temp! {giddy} Instead of working two hours I was there close to SEVEN however, so didn't end up controlling lunch as I had intended. Was "good" at Starbucks and had TINY vanilla bean scone (vs evil cheese danish) and a normal (vs fancy+calories) coffee. Was glad later I had bought my old favorite: a That's It! fruit bar as that ended up being my lunch! Yikes. Half a Builder's Bar as a snack has me satisfied for some reason.
Small Problem: it is 4:30 and I'm at
1278 All Day Calories Burned but a mere
719 Calories Consumed
I never know how close I should get to the nutrition tracker recommendation...at minimum it wants me to eat 1759 calories YET TODAY. That would be insane.

{PAUSE to see if there is an article...YES...PAUSE to Read} yay 5 points.

From Coach Nicole's Blog about creating a Caloric Deficit : "Simply follow the Nutrition and Fitness recommendations on your Trackers and you'll be creating the deficit needed to reach your goal weight! " There you go. Gonna be a big deficit today unless I go crazy LOL. No! No going crazy! I'll let you know tomorrow how it goes emoticon

Off to do some brief Strength...don't want to get my heart rate up. Can't run the risk of burning more calories! That actually sounds like a great way to enter the weekend...Just Relaxing!

    It's funny - yesterday after my run I realized I still needed to eat almost 600 calories! That was even after I "splurged" (still within budget) on a couple cookies. Then today I accidentally (completely misjudged the calorie content) ate nearly 1,000 calories at lunch! It's such a weird balancing act, so difficult to learn how to eat in a completely new manner.

    You certainly burned a lot of calories! I am like you in keeping at least one bar to help supplement if I don't eat lunch with is mostly normal in my life!! Hope you got home without too many cals. burned. Have a great weekend!!
