Busting at the seams

The busting at the seams would be my pantry, and not me - fortunately! Because we are busy this weekend, the hub and I went grocery shopping after dinner tonight and we are now fully loaded.
The pantry is full of supplies for the week. There are 3 "party" sized trays of lasagna in the fridge for the soccer team dinner, along with lots of veggies and fruit to keep us going during the week. I am going to make a last-minute run for salad veggies, fresh fruit, and loaves of fresh Italian or French bread to complement the lasagna on Sunday. I want all of that as fresh as possible; also, there isn't enough space in the fridge for fruit and salad for two dozen teenagers!
Now "all" we have to do is clean the house tomorrow, so that the teens can mess it all up on Sunday! And I'm thinking of baking some cookies to go with the fruit for dessert. And trying to decide if one big salad is enough or should I make two different ones. Last year I went nuts and made about 8 different dishes for the dinner. I'm trying to keep it simple this year but it goes against every compulsive bone in my body!
