Monday Morning Check In - 09/21

I haven't done a MMCI since I left the fitness boards of Chatelaine and started using Sparkpeople full-time. That's about 8 years... I may be rusty. Here goes:

This morning I weighed in at 139.5
This is a bad thing. Well, maybe not "bad" but definitely unfortunate. Since having my daughter almost four years ago, I'd lost 20 pounds. Today, my Spark start page reads "4". That hurts.

Last week, I had low motivation, an achy shoulder and a head cold. Any one of those alone I could have fought against and won. Together, they completely messed me up and stressed me out. I managed two runs and one yoga session. I also visited my chiropractor twice and my RMT once.
The worst part of last week was the amount of takeout junk I ate. This week's goal is to not eat any chocolate, donuts, cookies or anything else baked at Tim Horton's. I'll also be limiting coffee intake to one per day.


Workouts already scheduled for this week:

Sunday - run (8 km completed)
Monday - off
Tuesday - run + yoga
Wednesday - run
Thursday - run + yoga
Friday - strength training IF my chiro gives me the go ahead
Saturday - yoga

The good from last week: This little girl woke me up on Saturday morning with a big smile and a "are we going to the gym today Mommy?". She asked me earlier last week if she could go to yoga, I said "yes, on Saturday". She had so much fun that she wants to go back.
