I am liking the low carb high fat way of eating and I am seeing changes

Walked 2.41 Miles / 3.88 Kilometers Pedometer wasn't right. My husband wore it and it said .87 mile and 1841 steps. We walk the same route nightly.

Blood glucose 222 this morning. This diet of low carb high fat is working and the best thing is, I am not hungry. I am full at about 600 calories. I don't try to add on to them. I have begun adding fat like heavy whipping cream to my coffee and extra virgin olive oil to my salad.
The reading on the scale is dropping and I will wait and see what it is when I go back to the doctor.
Hubby is doing the exercise, but he is not following the diet. On the site, the doctor said in a video that you cannot eat this way part of the time, and then eat things not allowed, or the diet won't work.
I found out yesterday that Coffee-mate has corn syrup in it and while I didn't want to use skim milk in my coffee due to milk sugars, I wasn't helping myself. They tell you to use heavy cream up to two tablespoons a day.
I have been overweight since my Dad died when I was 20. I have tried diets and could lose weight. When I left my first husband, I ate round steak and cottage cheese. I would have a chicken salad sandwich on 1 slice of bread, an orange and carrot and celery sticks. I lost 40 lbs, because I walked/ran 5 miles daily. I ate the same thing over and over.
My biggest problem with all the diets I have ever tried was that I never felt satiated (full). I have been eating grilled chicken and lettuce, scrambled eggs, tomatoes and a salad blend that has Iceberg Lettuce, Carrots, Romaine Lettuce, Pea Pods, Red Cabbage, and Radishes. I can't have the carrots, so I pull them out.
The chicken is from the fajitas at the party. My husband has been finishing off the Chinese food and he ate a container of pumpkin fudge and all of the doughnuts. We have so much junk in the house, but I have known that for a long time. I am thinking about having to take a shot of day when faced with temptation. My shot that I take weekly stings as the medicine is injected.
I am very pleased with this new way of eating, The dread that was on my blog when I asked God to help me has turned into anticipation of the next doctor's visit and I am hoping, into a lifestyle change for me. You eat fat to lose fat. That goes against what the medical community is telling people and they medicate them for all sorts of ailments.
I want to be free of pills/supplements and needles. I told the doctor when I run out of fluid pills, I am done using them, there is a diuretic in my blood pressure pill and I was prescribed an extra fluid pill to take. I will quit glucosamine chondroitin too.
