I am having a pity party. I am out of rehab, and that's good.
It's just me and my kitty here, and I am lonely. I miss my Suzy so much!
I didn't share this here, but the day I went in for surgery to replace my knee, the doggie went to Suz son's and she went to her daughter's house to stay. There followed a plethora of tests and doctor appointments. She sees the hemotologist today.
Suz abdominal aneurysm has ballooned to 5 cm and needs surgery to tie it off. She is not a good candidate for that now. It was discovered that besides that, she has blockages in her legs, autoimmune hemolytic anemia, a spot on her lung and a lump in her breast.
Now I tell you...one sweet old lady?! Much worse than what I am going through, that's for sure.
I haven't seen her since September 4th...three weeks now. We talk on the phone every day, but that's all.
I'm using the crutch and walker, but still trying to get a little more done around the house every day. Not enough to notice it yet. Next on the list is to clean the stove and refrigerator and a load of laundry. Haven't been downstairs in weeks, so there's Tippy's litter box, too.
When things (like my mood) are better, I will get back to team posting, etc.
I really do try to stay positive.
Everyone, please have a great weekend.
