21-Day Sugar Challenge

Sunday, October 04, 2015

Well, I made it for five days before my sugar cravings got the best of me. I don't have any support at home which was one of the early suggestions. My partner eats anything and everything he wants because he's on Hospice and figures he won't be on this earth much longer. So who cares if his weight is approaching 300 pounds! And my habits match his even thought I try not to.

I can track my food and calories on SP, but I don't care what I eat. I write it down anyway. I have no self control, no motivation, no desire to eat better. I'm suffering from depression and the pills I'm on don't help. I don't know where to turn.

Thanks for all your comments. I am trying to live one day at a time. At my TOPS Club meeting yesterday I got some motivation and inspiration, so I'm going to keep on going with the challenge. If I eat poorly one day, I'll just start over the next day. With God's help I can master this challenge.

Sticking to the plan is hard; carrying extra weight is hard...choose your hard. Never, ever, ever give up!

Turn to God for help. Look within yourself , you have the power to change choice by choice. It's decision based, what is yours ?
