This is probably TMI but it's something that has been flitting in and out of my mind the last few months. As I put on weight over the years, my dimensions increased and I had to use undergarments reinforced with wires. Really uncomfortable wires that would distort with repeated washing and dig into my flesh.
When I started losing weight, my wobbly bits threatened to turn into dangly bits. But I no longer needed the pinchy wired buttresses and could go back to comfy constructs. And now, a few months later, my skin has miraculously shrunken enough so that the bits are back to wobbly rather than dangly.
I really noticed this when I had to run across the street to beat the walk signal - I realized that nothing felt like it was flapping in the wind. Everything felt firmly attached. I feel that I am slowly turning into one secure object - frankly, didn't think it would be possible at my age!
