Day 324 - Unusual Monday
Tuesday, October 20, 2015
In our new, wide-open sunroom, our friend Noranne's daughter Amanda was sleeping on the sofa. I tried to be quiet and not turn on too many lights while I ate my breakfast and did my morning Spark routine. It was hard not to clink the spoon on the bowl while eating the last of my bran flakes, but she slept through it all.
Noranne and her cousin Joan were sleeping upstairs in the guest room. Steve was still asleep in our bedroom, so my exercise this morning was pretty limited. I walked to Walmart and back before lunch to get some fitness activity in, but I know it wasn't as vigorous as my high-intensity workouts.
I did do some jumping jacks talking with my student services technician Carol this morning. She was complaining about stomach troubles, and I was bragging about how much I loved exercising. All of a sudden, my legs were going in and out as I was talking to her! It was like dancing in the office! Scandalous!
We spent the first part of the evening after we got home (after 7pm) working on the plans for our kitchen that have to submitted to the city for an addition to our building permit, which Steve will take to the city in the morning before he goes to work. We didn't eat until nearly 8:30, and it's now after 10pm and time for bed.
Tomorrow I'm heading to Yuba City for training the next 3 days. I will be stopping in Marysville to our parent campus on Wednesday to meet with our webmaster. Tomorrow and Wednesday nights I'm staying at my sister Janet and brother-in-law John's house in Citrus Heights (a suburb of Sacramento) with my nephew Matt. Janet and John are down in Costa Rica celebrating their 25th wedding anniversary. The next few days will be a lot of fun. Interesting training and hanging out with my nephew - awesome!
Have a Sparktastic Tuesday, friends, and I hope you know that I'm rooting for you in your journey to health and fitness! Together, we can make great things happen!
Keep Sparking!
