Virtual Walking Challenges for all!!!

Friday, October 23, 2015

Since I joined the Fall 5% Challenge to virtually walk to Destinations around the globe with my team, I have loved it so much that I recruited my daughter Julia and my friend Annette in Germany to do the same. We created a WhatsApp group and are adding minutes=air miles to get to dream destinations. Julia and I are walking from the beautiful Main Train Station in Amsterdam to Park Guell in Barcelona 967 miles. And my friend Annette loves it nice and cold, so we are walking from Trelleborg in Sweden to Kirkenes in Norway to sleep in a Snow Hotel and watch the Northern Lights 1392 miles. It is amazing how easy it is to get inspired to work out and even do minutes at a time, if you know that someone else is depending on you. I also like how my family looks at me, and is getting swept up in my excitement. I don't even have to do anything, but happily exclaim how many miles I am adding.

Never underestimate the power of ONE :)
