Picking up speed

Our lawn is covered in leaves and we had hail and snow last week. How did the year go by so quickly?

Our kid got her learners driving permit on Saturday. How did the years fly by so swiftly?

I'm already starting to think of presents to send family for the holidays. It feels like each year has barely started and before I know it, it's time to prepare for the end-of-year holidays.

And Hallowe'en? We picked up three bags of candies this weekend. It's not enough, but it's a start. I never buy my favorites - it's just too dangerous! But I pick up candies that the hub and kid like, so that any leftovers will not be wasted. Last year we gave out 8 bags of candies. It's my favorite holiday of the year. So many happy and excited kids! And the tiniest of them are so adorable and fun to gush over.
