Day 329 & 330 - Sunday, full of thanks

I am thankful for busy weekends, because they remind me that there is more to life than checking work emails and, yes, sometimes spending too much time on SP....

I am thankful for a community that cheers middle school choirs, bands, and dance teams because they are leaning the joy of performing.

I am thankful for the opportunity to give something we no longer need to someone who appreciates that something.

I am thankful for retail employees who go the extra mile to make sure we are purchasing the correct item.

I am thankful for the trust that my boss puts in me so that she feels comfortable confiding to me some of her troubles and concerns, and that she is willing to be my sounding board as well.

I am thankful for cooler weather that allows me to put the down comforter back on the bed, still my favorite covering when I'm sleeping.

I am thankful for my fellow Sparkers, who worry about me if I don't show up and give me medals for just being me.

I am thankful for getting the ironing done today!

    I swear, I posted on this blog yesterday. I had a lot going on (see my blog today, OMG!), and maybe I forgot to click the button.

    Anyway, I have an awful lot to be thankful for too.

    Cheering on middle school performances as a parent are EASY! They always brought tears to my eyes!!

    I am thankful for the TWO down comforters I have on my bed. One is practical, one is "fluffy". Keep me really warm in the Winter AND in the Fall!!

    I am thankful for my awesome Sparkfriends, who have encouraged me in the most magnificent ways. Especially you.

    I had a very difficult day at work today, however, no matter how bad things get at times, I try my best to look for the lesson and end on a happy note. That said, as I was getting ready to leave work, I picked up the evening paper from our mailbox and there we were on the front page! So, I am grateful for happy endings today, but am grateful for your love and inspiration EVERY DAY!

    YES....as we name our blessings we find that they multiply! As we concentrate on all that we have...we realize all the joys worth celebration!

    It's so awesome to share our stories with each other and continue our path to health and happiness supporting each other.

    I am so blessed to be married to the most wonderful man in the world for the past 38 years. One who makes me smile the moment he walks into the room, the one that is my best friend business partner and sounding board on all that is important in our world.

    I am blessed to have wonderful friends that make me laugh and sparkie friends that hold my hand and inspire me and cheer me on.

    I am blessed to live in one of the most beautiful climates in the world even though the summer's might be sizzler hot..then I'm thankful for air conditioning!

    I am blessed to live in a beautiful house that we built from the ground up and planned every detail with joy and anticipation.

    I am blessed to be open hearted and open minded to other people and filled with compassion for every ones unique life path.

    I am blessed to be creative and talented (if I do say so myself) with my jewelry designs and the staging of our consignment gallery with the many pieces of furniture and home accessories that arrive frequently. It is pure music to my ears to hear our customers tell us that our consignment gallery is their all time favorite and they recommend us to all of their friends!

    I am blessed to know a special friend like you and the unlikely way our spark paths crossed!

    I am thankful for the people whose lives have crossed my life's journey. And that brings me to you Steve and to everyone who is truly grateful for all the blessings in their life.
    You see when people who are truly thankful they give back. They share their knowledge, their life lessons. They don't skip over the stumbles, the falls. They lay it out there warts and all and that makes them a beautiful human being.

    I LOVE LOVE my down comforter and just got it out yesterday, and it is my very favorite thing to sleep under too !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I know I live in South Florida BUT we do at times get a real cool snap (40's on rare occasions) and I like to be ready.

    Good people who are doing good things to others always recieve double good things back. You deserve all the good things in the world for you care so much for others. I am so happy this boss of yours is confiding in you. This shows how much she appreciates you as a employee and as a friend. I am sure you look forward to work in this job than the last one. My work co mates were like my second family. It was hard when I left my job for my early retirememt. We were all very close. Have a excellent week with lots of good things to make you smile and happy:)
