My stomach is in knots, and for once it isn't because I abused it with overeating or poor food choices. One of my trainees has a big evaluation today, and I think I am more nervous for her than she is! There is something wrong with me - I am Mom at home, and also sometimes "Mom" at work as well. I need to adopt a more rational approach to life!

I always feel when I am training someone that it is a big reflection on myself so I understand. Some listen well and make it and other's don't.

I totally understand, I am the same way at work, but I don't see any chance of that changing. That is just a part of who I am, makes extra anxiety sometimes, but, oh well, can't be helped when you are in the nurturer/mother mode.

I'm sure your trainee will do well! I'm sure she appreciates all the help and caring concern you've given her up to this point. And I'm sure you'll be glad when it's over and hear the positive results! Then you can celebrate! I'll bet you're a wonderful mentor!

I understand completely. You take them on like your children. Its a great trait though. It's called caring. Makes you a wonderful person
